RESUMENEn este ensayo el autor analiza la importancia de la teoria en el proceso de construccion del discursohistorico. Asi mismo, estudia las caracteristicas que asume la interpretacion en su elaboracion comoun ingrediente fundamental. Igualmente, destaca el papel de las fuentes como medios que le otorganun caracter de verosimilitud a los asertos que el investigador produce sobre el pasado. A partirde este punto, Zambrano Perez critica las exposiciones del posmodernismo historiografi co que nole conceden ningun estatuto cientifi co a la historiografia, alineandose con todos los que defi enden ala historia como una importante forma de conocimiento de la sociedad.Palabras claves:Historia, Discurso historico, Ciencia, Teoria, Interpretacion, Posmodernismo historiografico.ABSTRACTIn this essay, the author discusses the importance of theory in the construction process of historicaldiscourse. Also, he studies the characteristics assumed by the interpretation in the preparation ofthat speech as a fundamental ingredient of itself. It also highlights the role of media sources as acharacter that gives credibility to the assertions that the researcher produces about the past.
