This document reports the results about Project of Professional Emphasis. It was ejecuted for the semester nine students of Speech and Language Therapist ofCorporacion Universitaria Iberoamericana. Its aim was to prevent the appearance of vocal disorders in teachers of EducationalInstitution Julio Cesar Turbay Ayala. This project was designed and ejecuted with Logic Framework Metodology, in this way: first, we fixed the population diagnosis or necessity through the desing or application of screening check for to characterize the state of the voice´s teahers. This screening check had 3 parts: vocal characteristics, risk factors (physicals, chemicals, biologicals or habits) and Voice Handicap Index (Pena, 2005, Landazuri, 2009). We defined some answer alternatives and we established the prognostic and prognostic control. We planed and ejecuted teorical and practice workshops, and, finally, we did a monitoring to the exercises of vocal prewarm up that were presented in the fist workshop. In conclusion, the teachers showed high risk for get vocal disorders because they were exposed to different risk factors in their workplaces like dust and noise, in addition to vocal abuse and vocal bad use. Of despite, this project didn’t reach the impact that we waited about it, because the director and teachers showed low aggrement whitactivities and calendar dates.
