We explore the development and implementation of a CAA (Computer Aided Enginnering) system applied to the design of water pipes in circular pressurized conduits. Nowadays the computational tools allow us to integrate and manage the large volume of graphic and non-graphic information that engineering design implies. The CAE systems, due to their graphic design capabilities in Civil Engineering, allow the topographic information to be directly transferred to the system to be processed, analyzed and finally represented by plans or exchange files. The implementation of a CAE system that combines mathematical physical models, techniques and computer technologies to handle, manipulate, represent and analyze in a dynamic and interactive way the problem to be solved.
