Sustainable Development is both growth environmentally sustainable and equal assignment of wellbeing. This development is supported in economical, social and environmental mainstays; these are not an exclusive responsibility of any kind of specific organization or institution. The proposals of this document are: highlight the interaction between State, Market and Civil Society to guarantee the Nations’ Sustainable Development; set the role of each institution in the social quality level; and set the sustainable enterprises’ role and its effect on management skills and strategies. The document emphasizes that the social dimension of the Sustainable Development is a mandatory issue and not a strategic option like Social Responsibility, this concept is a set of functional palliatives to the mankind’s problems. Social Responsibility is just one of the various components of the unknown Societal Receptiveness. Finally, the document demonstrates that the Social Responsibility in Colombia has been misunderstanding and biasing.
