The present work pretends to be a first theoretical and historical appraisal of the supply chain for convenience consumer goods in Colombia. With the rise of international huge capitals in the Colombian scenario this sector has been in permanent change. Since the authors perspective “Superetes” (small neighborhood stores with at least one cash checkpoint) established an interesting opportunity for small Colombia business men to avoid the pressure of foreign capitals. Present article is a framework to introduce small Colombian business men to the manage of their small business.
