The objective of this work is to find tourist choice determinants in Risaralda, starting from the analysis of the Discrete Choice Theory applied to tourism. For this purpose, the Matecana Zoo, the Comfamiliar Galicia Recreation Park, and the San Vicente and Santa Rosa Hot Springs were selected. The results obtained from estimating a multinomial logit model show that as destination repetition, age, employment status, marital status, travel with family or friends, size of the group you travel, income, and the motivation to enjoy the scenery and entertainment offered, influence in the choice of these destinations.
