RESUMEN Se realizo un estudio sobre el comportamiento difusivo de una solucion saturada de C0 2 en tres diferentes recubrimientos epoxicos: epoxi-amina, epoxi-poliamida y epoxifenolico-amina, aplicados sobre acero AISI 1020; ademas de la corrosion producida en el acero por los productos difundidos. La fase experimental se baso en la realizacion de ensayos de EIS a las probetas durante varios dias, con el objeto de evaluar la penetracion del electrolito y su proceso de corrosion, y se complemento con un analisis de la morfologia de la corrosion sobre los cupones expuestos bajo condiciones controladas de temperatura y presion. Se concluyo que las propiedades barrera contra el electrolito estudiado se ven afectadas mas por el aumento de la temperatura que la presion, y aumentan en el siguiente orden: epoxi-poliamida ABSTRACT A study was carried out on the diffusion of a saturated solution of C0 2 into three different epoxic coatings: epoxyamine, epoxy-polyamide and epoxyphenolic-amine, applied over AIS11020 steel plates; moreover . it was studied the corrosion produced on the steel by the penetrants. The experiments were based in the appiication of the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) technique to the probes for several days, to evaluate the penetration of the electrolyte and its corrosion process; to get a better comprenhension of the problem, it was carried out a morphological study of the probes after they were exposed to the electrolyte.
