RESUMEN La relacion entre literatura y carnaval ha sido amplia. En este texto de reflexion se plantea, desde una vision sociocritica, la relacion entre los personajes de tres “nouvelles” escritas por dos escritores barranquilleros, Marvel Moreno y Jaime Manrique Ardila, y uno del interior del pais, Plinio Apuleyo Mendoza, y como afrontan estos personajes, desde el plano social y politico, sus ideologias de clase. Se analizan tambien, a partir de Edmond Cros y algunos conceptos del psicoanalisis, sus comportamientos a traves de los cuales muestran sus personalidades ocultas y un pasado doloroso desde sus respectivas esferas sociales. Se concluye que las fiestas carnestolendas contribuyen, desde la cosmovision pesimista de estos escritores, a senalarlas como un rito purgatorial, constituyendose en un espacio conflictivo en el presente por su capacidad de revelacion y muerte. This paper arises from a sociocritical vision, the relationship between the characters of three “nouvelles” written by two writers from Barranquilla, Marvel Moreno and Jaime Manrique Ardila, and how they deal with these characters, from the social plane and political ideologies of class. It analyzes, from Edmond Cros and some concepts of psychoanalysis, through their behaviors which show their hidden personalities and a painful past from their social spheres. We conclude that it contribute with carnival celebrations, from the pessimistic worldview of these writers, and brings them as a rite purgatorial, constituting a conflict space in this revelation for their ability and death.
