In recent years robotics had been implemented in many diverse and critical fields such as medicine, planetary and underwater explorations, automation of industrial processes, security, and entertainment, among others. One of the contributions of greatest impact is in the education field, where the robots when are integrated to a group of students and tutors facilitate the learning and the strengthening of cognitive skills. In this article is described some of the most important approaches in this topic and among of them is presented the educational kit TEAC2H-RI (Technology, Engineering And sCience eduCation through Human-Robot Interaction), which was developed by the Research Group Artificial Intelligence in Education of the National University of Colombia. The characteristics of this kit are the modularity, low cost and cooperativism. Additionally, it is open not only for software changes but also for hardware changes. ### En anos recientes la robotica ha tenido aplicaciones en campos tan diversos y criticos como la medicina, la exploracion planetaria y submarina, automatizacion de procesos industriales, seguridad, entretenimiento, entre otros. Uno de los aportes de mayor impacto se ha dado en la educacion, donde los robots al integrarse al grupo de estudiantes y tutores, propician el aprendizaje y el fortalecimiento de habilidades cognitivas. En el presente articulo se ilustra algunos de los alcances mas representativos en esta materia y se enmarca dentro de ellos el kit educativo TEAC2H-RI (Technology, Engineering And sCience eduCation through Human-Robot Interaction), el cual fue desarrollado por el Grupo de Investigacion Inteligencia Artificial en Educacion de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Este tiene caracteristicas de modularidad, bajo costo y cooperativismo. Adicionalmente, es abierto a cambios tanto en el software como en el hardware.
