El material pretende, como su nombre lo indica, presentar para su discusion unas breves reflexiones sobre un tema que hoy en el mundo se debate con un inusitado interes y que sigue requiriendo de compromisos teoricos y practicos, desde las distintas disciplinas, para lograr transformar las condiciones que imposibilitan al hombre vivir con dignidad y decoro. La perspectiva que utilizamos para abordar la complejidad del tema es la filosofica, toda vez que consideramos que ella nos abre un horizonte inmenso para dialogar y controvertir en escenarios academicos sobre Derechos humanos y Educacion, sin encasillarlos en el campo de la Politica, el Derecho y la Moral independientemente considerados. La defensa de los Derechos humanos, en la jerga politica, ha adquirido una expresion sin igual. Es en este campo donde mas se les reivindica. Lo hacen con igual enfasis sus defensores, detractores y violadores. Pareciera que es desde la politica como mejor se puede elaborar un discurso en su defensa. Politico que no se muestre defensor de los derechos humanos no tiene ninguna posibilidad de ascender en la escala de valores a la hora de aspirar a ocupar cargos de la mas alta representatividad. Pero como la defensa de los Derechos humanos es un problema de profundas connotaciones eticas, es imprescindible que los academicos en el campo de las Ciencias Sociales y Humanas, en epoca de agudizacion de la crisis, contribuyamos a desbrozar caminos para un mejor andar hacia el logro de una vida mas justa y digna. ABSTRACT Short anottations about Ethics, Human Rights and Education in Latin America: the Colombian Case. This writting pretends, as its name indicates, to present to its discution short thoughts about a subject that today in the world is being debated with special interest and continues to require theorical and practical commitments, from teh different disciplines, to transform the conditions that make difficult for men to live with dignity. The point of view that we use to show the complexity of the subject is philosophy, everytime we consider that it open us a new horizon to dialog in academic scenaries about Human Rights and Education, without been stuck in Politics, Law and Moral if we consider them as independentitems. The defense of Human Rights in the Politics has adquired a special expression. Is in this field were more is claimed. Their defensors, detractors and the ones who break them. It seems that from Politics is the best way to make a better speech for its defense. A politian that doesn’t show itself as in favor of the Human Rights doesn’t have any pposibility to climb the stairs of values in order to be in one of the highest position he or she can be. But as the defense of Human rights is a problem that has many ethical connotations, is essential for the academics in the field of Social and Human sciences, that in the time of crisis, they contribute to find ways to achive a more worhty and fair way of life.
