According to OMS epilepsy is defined as a chronic condition of diverse etiology, characterized by recurrent seizures due to excessive discharge of cerebral neurons (seizure), possibly associated with various manifestations. The present study sought to investigate bibliometric the different perspectives held about epilepsy and its relationship with Learning Disabilities, and explore the role of speech and language pathologist around subjects with this condition. For this type selected 50 research articles that met pre-established criteria and variables from the intersection of the same, the respective analysis was performed. The results showed a marked tendency of research in countries like Mexico and Spain, to the neuropsychological approach, especially directed towards the evaluation, giving little relevance betting approach; equally scarce research that decide to explore the social and school environment as a key element those with seizures. Moreover, despite the importance of the role of Speech therapist, participation is low. It therefore concluded that epilepsy is seen as a crippling disease leading to social exclusion.
