Evaluación de la compactación y la necesidad de cultivos en dos suelos representatitivos de un agroecosistema cañero mediante el uso de la penetrometría de impacto.
The paper is related to the results obtained from studies realized at San Juan Cooperative Production Basic Unity located at Cristino Naranjo Agro-Industrial Complex areas in Holguin province; with the purpose to evaluating, by using impact penetrometry, compactation state and tillage necesity of two representative soil planted of sugar cane (Saccharum sp. hybrid). As measurer instrument was used impact penytrometer model IAA/Planalsucar-Stolf, taking samples in two sities respect center stump (0.30 m and interfurrow center), replicating twice in each field until profundity of 0.40 m in Vertisoil and 0.30 m in Carbonatic Humic soil. The results showed that there were not serious compactation problems, due to 8.9 % and 68.4 % from studied area clasified as friable and few compacted, respectively, according categories stablished for evaluation. However, because of dynamic character of this degradator fenomen of soils, it is necesary a systematic control in order to avoid that the factor will be a limiting one for sugar cane production in this zone.
