Abstract:

This article aims at describing elementary and high school teachers’ practicum in Educative Institutions from Atlantico and Sucre. To do so, a descriptive research is carried out. Besides, 41 teaching experiences are systematized under criteria such as: didactics, evaluation and pedagogy. Later on, data is analyzed in order to identify categories related to teachers’ practicum. This analysis is based on Bernstein and Van Dijk’s postulates. Some of the categories came to be teaching practicum’s purposes, pedagogic discourse, instrumental teaching practicum, lesson planning and regulation. As a result, teaching-oriented practicum is elicited. It is characterized by knowledge transmission and traditionally set.
