Seguros del Estado S.A. maneja en la actualidad el 30% del mercado Seguro Obligatorio de Accidentes de Transito (SOAT), volumen que ha causado en la empresa un atraso en los pagos a los diferentes acreedores, esto hace que surja la necesidad de revisar el proceso y elaborar el rediseno del mismo para optimizarlo. Para su desarrollo se siguieron los siguientes pasos: revision del marco teorico, analisis de la organizacion, levantamiento del proceso actual, rediseno del proceso, presentacion de la propuesta a la gerencia y elaboracion del informe final. El analisis del proceso detecto multiples falencias tales como, falta de delegacion, duplicacion de actividades, manual de funciones inadecuado, subutilizacion del talento humano, etc. Se concluyo que se debe redisenar el proceso y elaborar un nuevo manual de funciones. ABSTRACT Seguros del Estado S.A. currently manages 30% of the SOAT market, this volume has caused a delay in the payment to the different creditors. This has created the need to review and to restructure the process in order to optimize it. For the process s development the next steps were followed: Theoretical revision of the topic. analysis of the organization, documentation of the current process, development restructure of a proposal to the process, presentation of the proposal to the company s managers, and devising of the final report. The analysis of the process detected multiple failures such as lack of delegation, duplication of activities, an inadequate function s manual, inappropriate use of human talent, etc. It was concluded that the process must be restructured and that a new function manual must be devised.
