Some basic elements related to the health and the quality of life of the worker as a biopsycho-social being are studied. Some objective factors of the working environment that influence the quality of life are dealt with. To achieve quality of life at work, some changes directed to the attainment of a healthy job are required. A strategy to improve the quality of life in general is exposed. It is organized in six steps: training, planning, dissemination, unfolding, implementation, and the continuous improvement of quality.
