With the Learning Based in PBL Problems, students are learning programmed contents and then from the final solution, the students return to what they have learned, both about the scope of the problem itself as the method of solution. The ABP has a fundamental premise, education should begin with a problem that is relevant and meaningful to students. The Faculty of Engineering at the University of San Buenaventura Medellin has been implementing PBL with three experiences that differ among each other in terms of how the ABP applies: project planning by groups of students and applied research; planning of a general applied research project; and emergence of cohesive projects to pre-concepts of students. The assessment is determined by monitoring and deliveries made at each stage of the development of software projects, Focusing in the development of argumentative, performing and purposeful skills.
