This research project took place within the framework of the line of research in didactics of Social Sciences of the Autonomous University of Manizales, which focuses on the application of a didactic unit in the classroom from critical thinking to understand, think and act on social reality in space - time, social thought and citizenship. Research in social sciences is framed in the development of thought in space-time where various aspects such as the development of spatial location, territory, environment, historical thought and historical time can be studied. In more detail, for this research we worked within the framework of the development of the historical thinking of the business student, in such a way that the students give meaning to the history of international business, a key point at the moment of understanding the dynamics of the turbulence of international markets that currently operate in a world with a high level of uncertainty, and which, being globalized, requires higher level skills for decision-making in the business context.
