Correspondencia entre las competencias laborales y las competencias esenciales en salud pública, que desempeñan los médicos y los profesionales en Gerencia de Sistemas de Información en Salud (GESIS) de los equipos de salud pública en la subregión Valle de Aburrá, Antioquia 2016-2017
To identify the correspondence between labor competencies and essential competencies in Public Health of Physicians and professionals in health information systems management of Public Health teams in the Valle de Aburra sub region, Antioquia, 2016 - 2017. Methodology: Study descriptive section that considered data of a qualitative and quantitative nature. The 8 professionals in Gesis and 4 in Medicine were selected by convenience sampling according to their availability to participate in the study and the signing of the consent. Organization of the information: Design of the database in SPSS V23 with Univariate Analysis: Descriptive statistical analysis and Bivariate Analysis were carried out: Cross-tabulations were developed to establish an association between the variables sex, profession, time in office; the non-parametric Chi square test (X2) was used. Results: 12 professionals participated, average age 38 years. All belonging to public health teams in the health secretaries. The 50% contracting modality was for an indefinite term contract; 80% of professionals fulfilled multidisciplinary functions. The analysis showed that for Domains 1, 3, 4 and 6 no significant association was found. In Domain 2 it was observed that a large part of the competences had association with the undergraduate variable; In Domain 5 it was evidenced that the 5.6 and 5.7 competences had an association with the functions variable, and only the 5.3 competence was associated with both the undergraduate and functional variables. Conclusions: no correspondence was found between the labor competencies and the essential competences in Public Health in Physicians and Gesis in the teams of the Valle de Aburra subregion.
