Physical activity is a factor of the first magnitude that affects human health. In adults, the lack of physical activity is a determinant of the risk of cardiovascular mortality, in reference to children the evidence on its effects is lower, however, a large number of studies suggest a close relationship with the development of obesity and with factors of cardiovascular risk. Objective: To establish the Social Determinants of Health as predictors of healthy physical iv condition in schoolchildren between 12 and 18 years of age in the city of Dosquebradas Risaralda. Methodology: Cross-sectional descriptive study with comparative phase, a sample of 339 randomly selected students with a margin of error of 0.6 cm and a reliability of 95% was used. The technique was used as observation through the battery Alpha Fitness and as an instrument the format of social determinants. Results: 84.4% of the students presented an unhealthy physical condition, and the determinants that showed a statistically significant association with the physical condition were the father's educational level and cigarette consumption, the predictive model has a percentage of correct answers 84.3% indicating that it has a good explanatory capacity. Conclusions: the level of unhealthy physical condition prevailed in the studied school population highlighting the Determinants educational level of the father and cigarette consumption were the predictors of physical condition.
