El presente trabajo de grado pretende establecer la relación entre la red empresarial, la competitividad y el desarrollo en Risaralda a partir del estudio de la red empresarial de la caña azucarera, en especial de su empresa líder el Ingenio Risaralda. Dicha investigación considera necesario señalar cómo la actividad de cooperación y participación de las empresas que conforman la red empresarial del sector objeto de estudio, aportan a la región bases de crecimiento social y productivo enmarcadas dentro de una exigencia de carácter global. Además, se toman una variedad de autores como un referente esencial sobre aspectos inherentes al tema para posteriormente contrastar las teorías por ellos planteadas y la realidad de la red./Abtract This work aims to establish the relationship degree between the enterprise network, competitiveness and development in Risaralda from the study of the enterprise network of sugarcane, especially its leader the Ingenio Risaralda. Such research would point out how the activity of cooperation and participation of the companies in the business network under study sector, provide the foundation for social growth region and productive framed within a global requirement. In addition, they take a variety of authors as an essential reference on aspects inherent to the subject for later contrasting theories raised by them and the reality of the network.
