This research was conducted in order to understand the behavior and dynamics of the automotive sector in Colombia, with special emphasis on the area of mid-range vehicles, because they are the busiest segment of the automotive market in Colombia. The study was carried out using the study period between 2004 and 2009 to identify the current situation of the sector, involving the four major automakers in the country according to the ISIC classification used by the Superintendence of Companies.
