The current economic environment is characterized by its dynamism. The different trends make a highly competitive environment, unstable and changing which encourages greater leadership in companies wishing to survive and succeed. Only those companies that get fit to various changes can survive the uncertainty and complexity. It is undeniable that at some point occurs a crisis that can disrupt normal operation of enterprises and in some cases be on the verge of death, but when crisis are overcome, is reflected perseverance and strategic effort made by the director and his team. This applies to Productos 3A, Colombian company dedicated to the food industry, importing, marketing and distributing mainly dried fruits, which underwent a crisis that began in 1999 due primarily to the financial situation that was faced by a high level of indebtedness. Over time achieve implement different strategies that were the key to its survival, among whom were under the Act 550, as well as work with and improve leadership and management issues, thus achieving a position in the Colombian market, becoming one of the first national importers of dried fruits. Finally, the faculty of Management of Rosario University, in cooperation with the Superintendency of Companies, awarded each year, the Phoenix Award in recognition of companies having started a process of liquidation, resurfaces and generates favorable results, sustainable and lasting over time. Company Productos 3A got this recognition, product of its effort, resilience and perseverance, becoming a great example in the business field, which is possible to jump from morbidity to lasting.
