The general objective of this research is to develop a business plan for a tourist resort in the north of Cartagena based on the digital detox movement, combining it with sports activities. Initially, the business concept was created, followed by a sectoral analysis describing the current tourism trends, as well as evaluated whether the proposed concept has potential in the current tourism environment. Moreover, the necessary infrastructure was determined, including production and construction requirements. By identifying the products offered and its associated costs, an income prediction was created to define the necessary investment of the enterprise, followed by future profit forecasts. The composition of the investors was defined, as well as the legal requirements for the constitution of the company. Comparing the competitors and substitutes in said region, the strengths of the resort were deducted and at the same time the marketing mix of the product was designed. This, by including promotion strategies, positioning, price and naming the relevant sales channels.
