The aim of this paper is to analyze the business sustainability in the agricultural sector by identifying the main characteristics of the companies that conform to this sector in the city of Bogotá that are in the process of restructuring the law 550 of 1999 published by the Superintendency of Corporations. We analyzed the characteristics they have in common, these firms covered by this law, leading us to understand the causes of why organizations in our country at the time of its creation does not exceed 41% the first year of life, and another does not exceed the first five years. To be able to work well together academia, government and business in a plan of improvement and endurance successful business that prevents all kinds of diseases this may present the companies and contribute to its deterioration and death. This analysis used qualitative and quantitative data obtained from the results by economic and financial questionnaires applied to each of these companies.
