The basic cardiac ultrasound (ECB) is a useful tool in the Intensive Care Unit to facilitate the implementation of certain interventions. It is not defined the number of repetitions required to obtain an adequate level of competition. The evidence found indicates a minimum of fifty repetitions to achieve some degree of skill.
