This monograph is oriented to analyze how the human talent, being the source of knowledge that conduces into innovation and added value, needs to be the principal improvement and internal strengthening focus in public entities through a correct knowledge management that no only makes processes more effective, but also gives the employees the opportunity to grow in the organization, feels satisfied with their work and learn together with the entity. For this, we address Knowledge and Management from its basics. We began formulating our own definition from different existing concepts and then, we go deeper into topics like Knowledge Management, competitiveness, current reality of the Superintendence of Vigilance and Private Security in order to formulate a model that allows them to reach the objectives mentioned before. Additionally, we pretend to take this paper beyond the theory and concepts to go more into the day by day of the entity workers which are the ones who live the consequences of correct or mismanagement of the value they bring as individuals to an organization or entity like the Superintendence.
