This study describes reference scenarios and methodologies that were used for the feasibility analysis in the creation of a health care center (IPS) located in Bogotá Capital District. Based on the bibliographic review, the progress in terms of coverage and equity in the provision of health services that has been achieved in the country and in the Capital District was identified, however, the results related to accessibility and quality, results that could be improved as IPS are created that provide health services with higher quality standards. The compilation of a series of context data, demographics, morbidity-mortality and epidemiological profiles, insurance and payers, current service offers, is used in the analysis to determine with these, if there is market viability and in this way identify a need. or problematic, which correlates with the existence of authorized services to cover it, the locality in which they are most required and thus determine the viability as a response to the problem that reflects the data of the system in general due to the need for a nearby IPS of attention health doctor.
