Correlacion entre hemoglobina glicosilada con hallazgos sintax score ii en pacientes con sospecha clínica de enfermedad coronaria, hospitalizados en la unidad coronaria del hospital San José centro en enero a septiembre del año 2015
We made a cross sectional study in the period from January to September 2016 in the coronary care unit of Hospital San Jose Downtown Bogota; in patients with suspected coronary artery disease (acute coronary syndrome and stable angina) and a history of Diabetes Mellitus Type 2, 42 patients were collected with the inclusion criteria whom coronary angiography was performed as part of the study protocol and management of the unit, the primary objective was to demonstrate the possible correlation between glycated hemoglobin levels and the severity scale SYNTAX Score I and II of coronary disease, as secondary objectives; characterize the sociodemographic variables, comorbidities and possible relationship to the type of presentation of coronary disease. As important findings not important or significant correlation was found between glycated hemoglobin levels and scale SYNTAX Score II or Syntax score I, although most patients had chronic bad control of their diabetes mellitus type 2, with higher levels> 7 % as a positive finding statistically significant association with LDL levels and different ways of presenting coronary disease was found, the higher the levels of LDL higher probability of AMI and AMI with ST segment elevation. It is considered that with multicenter studies in different cities and cardiovascular care units with different levels of risk, could demonstrate the possible correlation between glycated hemoglobin levels and degrees of severity of coronary disease represented by the scales Syntax score I and II
