Análisis de algunos de los actores que influyeron en el rol desempeñado por los Estados Unidos durante el genocidio en Sudán durante el periodo 2001 – 2009.
The main actors that influenced the role of the United States during the genocide in Sudan were determined by the oil lobby and gum arabic, interest groups and public opinion and human rights organizations, among others. Many of them helped the United States establish strategies through multilateral channels, directly and indirectly in the United Nations through the African Union and from unilateral humanitarian and economic blockades against Sudan. Not only met and protected the interests of American power, but partially achieve the protection of civilians, culminating in the secession referendum in southern Sudan since President Omar Bashir is reclaimed before the international criminal court to answer for the atrocities committed under his rule.
