PodcastLab was born in response to the increase in the national production of independent podcasts in Colombia in 2020, probably due to the pandemic and the ease of producing sound content digitally, with basic virtual tools and low budget. For this reason, we believe that new producers require not only information that allows them to produce in a sustainable way but also to strengthen their knowledge and development of their programs. The beneficiaries are all those content creators, applicants, or interested in the themes, who want to contribute to the conversation around the fields of art and culture in Colombia. Podcasters, artists, communicators, promoters of culture, teachers, engineers, students, etc. The project is planned as a six-month pilot, which will allow the outlined scope to be measured and sustainability adjustments made in the medium and long term. and has the following general and specific objective: General Objective: Create a virtual laboratory for podcast producers in Colombia that promotes the strengthening and sustainability of the sector. Specific objectives: Create and implement a communication strategy from a website for the Podcast Laboratory project in Colombia. Structuring a podcast training process focused on sustainability, for Colombian podcasters. Create a Podcast Observatory in Colombia.
