From the “Defensive realism” perspective, they pretend to analyze the Iranian nuclear program’s implications, specially the security for the state of Israel. On the contrary to Israel, the state of Iran has signed and ratified the Non Proliferation Nuclear Treaty in which all purposes are non violent, but Israel thinks just the opposite, that the Iranian nuclear program is militarily offensive with war purposes. In that line of thought, the acquisition of nuclear weapons by Israel’s neighbors is considered a menace against the survival and security of Israel. For that reason, the security dilemma is a reality, given the continuity of Iran’s nuclear program.
