Naturaleza, arte y territorio

Abstract:

This paper seeks to explore the art-nature-territory relationship, based on a conjointly and simultaneous study of the ply and ritornello notions, taken from the proposal of the philosopher Gilles Deleuze and the psychoanalyst Félix Guattari. These concepts become the fundamental basis on which rests the notion of geo-aesthetic, conceived as the spatial turn that takes place in the aesthetics, that is, the emerging interest in the geographical discipline that allows an aesthetic theory of the space. The geo-aesthetic doesn’t aim to eliminate the human component in arts, but to demonstrate that there’s more art in nature than we thought. The ritornello and the ply can be used to regulate the relationship between human beings, art and territory. The ply has a mathematical and topological realization that, being radically human, shows clearly the expressive quality, not human, of nature. By its side, the ritornello is conceived as the eternal return that gives place to the art genesis, with the constitution of a territory. With the ply and the ritornello it is possible to defend art as geography, as the constant territorial and expressive transformation of the environment, of the landscape, it is about making geo-aesthetics possible.
