People + B. is a tool that arises from the results of the research project on the impact of human management practices on organizational development, and it is response to organizational needs evidenced from different mechanisms for collecting information, which are part of the need to develop proposals that tend to improve the conditions of small and medium companies, specifically those that, due to their form of organization, present broader weaknesses and lack protocols that guarantee sustainability in the long time. In such a way that this software favors not only the advancement of these organizations in terms of planning, organization and control but also the progress of society itself, since MSMEs in Colombia are one of the systems businesses that mobilize the economy and impact on social gaps. In Colombia there are a number of public programs to strengthen the companies, however, technological development, equal opportunities and the access to information that improves the conditions of MSMEs are insufficient given that they lack knowledge for the development of strategies and even approach to the same programs for competitiveness, financial improvement and the development of intellectual capital. Table 1 offers a list of some programs that Colombia has for the strengthening of companies and innovation.
