The urban population is growing by leaps and bounds, which implies great climatic challenges worldwide, specifically those related to water sources. Universities are called upon to offer solutions to this crisis and to reestablish the relationship between human and nature, a call that is joined by young people, who demand more training and actions in this regard. The general objective of this work is to identify actions that universities can implement to promote better relations with water sources, all from the perspective of young people, and from the line of future methodologies, specifically future workshops, where work was done with students from Medellin from different university careers. The main results are that students are interested in improving their relations with water sources and think of specific actions on how to contribute to this. Among the main conclusions is that young people are interested in establishing better relations with water sources, but the city does not offer adequate infrastructure for this purpose. In addition, in general, they consider that the university offers different resources to keep them informed about the topic; however, these are very focused on academic programs and there is no guarantee that they will reach all university students.
