This research paper investigates the enhancement of balancing ethical, data privacy, and security dimensions in Blockchain (BC) based healthcare governance, aligning with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles using a stage-gate model. It addresses the burgeoning importance of ESG programs in the European healthcare sector, particularly in the context of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 agenda. The study focuses on the complexities and potential of incorporating BC technology in healthcare, emphasizing governance, data management, security, and ethical decision-making. Methodologically, the research combines a comprehensive literature review with case studies and expert interviews across various Healthcare Organizations (HCOs). These case studies provide insights into the real-world application of BC in healthcare, exploring the interplay between technology, ethics, and ESG principles.
