The purpose of this paper is to share results obtained from the research project entitled: “Performance Analysis of Different Optical and Electronic Compensation Techniques for CD in WDM Networks”. The main features were specifically identified, and the performance of different optical and electronic techniques for compensation of CD by simulation, using the Software OptSim® of Rsoft Design was analyzed. The parameters considered and evaluated are based on the most relevant features of different studies related to techniques for CD compensation in WDM networks to 10 Gbps.
