The article challenges academic knowledge norms by giving voice to the marginalized and promoting diverse perspectives in Colombia. Its aim is to include both silenced human voices and non-human actors in the production of everyday and collective knowledge, translating differences into conventional language and questioning species hierarchies. Through accounts of the Colombian armed conflict, which highlight community resilience and the importance of listening to marginalized voices, it seeks to enrich the current knowledge landscape with greater inclusion and diversity of experiences. The text presents narratives of women from the first half of the 20th century in Colombia and recent voices of conflict victims who listen to the songs of birds and value the work of bees as sources of knowledge and support.
