The objective was to design a life skills program and evaluate its effectiveness in promoting coping and adjustment strategies in the couple relationship aimed at mitigating intimate partner violence associated with the COVID-19 pandemic among young adults in the city of Bogota, Colombia. The participants were 125 young adults between 18 and 29 years of age (M = 22.75; SD = 3.33). The program Conviviendo en Pareja de Manera Saludable y Segura "CON-PAS" was applied, which was designed and validated for the present study. Sociodemographic data were collected. The Couple Relationship Adaptation Survey during the Pandemic by COVID-19 and the Questionnaire of Coping Strategies toward Domestic Violence were applied. Through repeated measures ANOVA, significant changes were found in anger control (F = 12538.20; p < .00; ETA= .99), thoughts and self-esteem (F = 21070. 84; p < .00; ETA= .99), communication (F = 12114.86; p < .00; ETA= .99), problem-solving (F = 6267.02; p < .00; ETA= .98) and couple adjustment (F = 4405.18; p < .00; ETA= .97).
