Efficient and affordable electrocatalysts are fundamental for the sustainable production of hydrogen from water electrolysis. Here, an approach for the rapid production of laser-induced vertical graphene nanosheets (LIVGNs) through the exfoliation of the graphite foil under laser irradiation is presented.
