This chapter describes a teaching sequence in a course of English for English language learners. The participants developed a literacy project whose foundations integrated some of the principles of the educational model at Universidad Ean in Bogotá, Colombia. The guiding concepts that the instructor used to shape the instructional design were digital literacy, technology, and inclusion. These elements took precedence as students worked on each one of the phases of the class project. The chapter makes a claim for literacy instructors to work with a more comprehensive understanding of literacy instruction in classrooms.
