Four additional species of Eleutherodactylus are described from the andean forests between 1800 and 2650 meters elevation in the municipios of Pensilvania and Samaná, Departamento de Caldas, on the eastem flanks ofthe Cordillera Central. Additionally, E. boulengeri is reported for the first time from the region. With these reports, 23 species of Eleutherodactylus are recorded from this small area. The most detailed field work was carried out in forest patches 6 km SW Florencia, Caldas, where 17 species of the genus were found sympatrically.
