The integration of photonic components into embedded systems represents a transformative opportunity for the advancement of information processing and communication technologies. This study, titled, aims to identify and classify the critical parameters that impact the performance of integrated photonic systems. Through an exhaulstive literature review, eleven key parameters were selected. The results of the MICMAC analysis revealed that parameters, keys, determinants, autonomous and dependent. These findings provide valuable insights for the design and development of more efficient and robust integrated photonic systems. The study concludes with recommendations for future research and practical strategies to optimize these parameters and improve overall system performance.
