The present research hotbed project aims to analyze procedural law and sustainable development in the face of the challenges of the Colombian reality. It is a qualitative, descriptive study based on international, national, doctrinal, and legal databases, utilizing tools such as Scopus and Ebsco search engines and up-to-date and relevant government data to identify issues and achieve set objectives. The results reveal that a high percentage of the Colombian population suffers the consequences of an absent State that does not respond promptly to their basic needs, including equal access to justice. This creates a gap in the effective administration of justice and equitable conditions, hindering sustainability in the present and the near future and delaying peace, justice, and robust institutions.
