The City Statute regulates the Federal Constitution, regulating the use of urban property for the benefit of the collective good, security and well-being of citizens, in harmony with our Magna Carta, which establishes that everyone has the right to an ecologically balanced environment in favor of present and future generations. This article conducts a study on the importance of the Property Registry in the consolidation of sustainable cities by publishing comprehensive information of an urban-environmental nature in the registration of properties. For this research, technical procedures of bibliographic and documentary nature were adopted, through articles, books, websites, laws and the Brazilian Federal Constitution, with an exploratory objective. In the end, it is concluded that there is a legal shelter for the real estate registries to insert all the pertinent information to the property, including environmental assets and liabilities, providing everyone with the exercise of the right to environmental information, as well as contributing to the formation of a preventive judgment of disputes and the construction of a socio-environmental balance.
