In this paper, we will show the project developed by a small ISP (Nodo Pacífico) and Universidad Icesi to bring connectivity in remote rural areas in the Colombian Pacific Region. "Nodo Pacifico" project has a proposal: Determine the feasibility of technology for rural wireless broadband in remote and isolated areas of the Colombian Pacific Coast, using Television White Spaces - TVWS to reduce the digital gap of the disconnected population and the experience of a community network in a rural area. This project also seeks to measure the behavior of Wireless DOCSIS network system, using devices from different manufacturers, with real traffic, amid the real environmental conditions of the territory.
