We took Peripheral blood samples from adult patients over 60 years of age with a confirmed diagnosis of IPF through biopsy or clinical criteria. Plasma separation was performed, and proinflammatory cytokines were measured using CBA. This study received approval from the ethics and research committee of the Colombian Pulmonological Foundation.
