By 2050 the number of people over 60 years of age will grow exponentially, the population will be older, and the number of chronic diseases will increase. In this sense, providing technological solutions that help to improve the health and quality of life of chronic patients is essential to adapt to the new times. 17.5 million people die worldwide from cardiovascular diseases. The project shows the design of a system that allows the diagnosis and monitoring of patients suffering from CVD using a device; to develop a non-invasive optical technique that allows the measurement of heart rate to be interpreted using algorithms. The project is currently in the testing phase to adjust for its implementation.
