The 3D digitization process is the three-dimensional representation of any object through specialized software, in this case 3D Slicer, that allows us to visualize volumes, supported by tools such as Oculus and Unity that allow the creation of scenarios and interaction with 3D models. The project is developed through the 3D Slicer, Unity and Oculus applications with the aim of applying it in the field of medicine that constantly needs innovation to identify, diagnose and select the treatment that best suits the pathology presented by the patient, as well as the requirements presented by all medical care centers and academic institutions in the preparation of professional and support personnel in the different branches of medicine, who seek new technologies and innovation that contribute to development for the benefit of humanity. The project "Design of a tool in a virtual reality environment to manipulate anatomical models" focuses on 3D modeling of images of tissues, organs and bones of the human body, taking them to a virtual reality VR environment for dynamic simulation, with high graphic, acoustic and tactile content, with a highly participatory result of the subjects, in an artificial environment, the manipulation of anatomical models allows supporting diagnoses with greater precision, providing a greater possibility of positive results to the treatment defined by the specialist, carrying with This improves the patient's quality of life.
