This paper displays the findings of the research “Enseñar en los tiempos de laweb” (Teaching in the web era), whose object is to show the tendencies ofteachers to use ICTs. This investigation consisted of evidencing the tendency inthe perception of teachers in an educational institution, in their knowledge andapplication of information and communication technologies through a threestagemethodology: The first, which consisted of making a theoretical reviewthe use of ICTs; The second, in which a data collection method was appliedthrough a survey-type tool with a 5-grade Likert scale and, finally; the third,in which the respective analyzes of said collected data were carried out. As aresult, it is shown that teachers know the use of technology as a tool for theirpedagogical practices to carry their message, however, they confuse said usewith knowledge mediation with ICT.
