The high demand for internet use worldwide and the exponential increase of aging worldwide with projections of double-digit increase by 2030, makes older adults are not a focus of attention and inclusion in an increasingly digitized market, with young people being the main actors of online payments, online shopping, reservations, and travel. To close this gap, the objective of this research is to understand the factors that affect the perception, intention, and acceptance of the use of ICTs especially in daily tasks called online transactions of older adults in the city of Neiva, Huila, Colombia. This study seeks the integration of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model in conjunction with machine learning techniques to predict the level of appropriation of knowledge of these technologies to an original dataset collected from sixty-eight older adults.
